Welcome to BoltPVP's rules page!
Before playing on BoltPVP, please take a moment to read through our rules. They help keep the server fair and enjoyable for everyone.
Click the tabs to view the different sections, including gameplay, chat, and punishments.
If you play on BoltPVP, you're expected to follow these rules. If you have any questions, feel free to contact a staff member.
By using chat on BoltPVP, you agree to follow these rules. They apply to all players, regardless of rank or status.
1. No Swearing
Do not excessively swear or use inappropriate language in chat.
2. No Bullying or Harassment
No bullying, put-downs, targeted harassment, threats, or attempts to make other players feel unwelcome.
3. No Hate Speech
Racism, discrimination, slurs, and hateful comments are strictly prohibited.
4. No Spamming
Do not repeatedly send messages, flood chat, or abuse caps to disrupt conversations.
5. No Advertising
Do not advertise other Minecraft servers, Discord servers, websites, or services without staff permission.
6. No Inappropriate Content
Do not send sexually explicit, excessively offensive, or otherwise inappropriate content.
7. No Scamming or Malicious Links
Do not send scam messages, phishing links, malicious downloads, or fake giveaways.
8. No Impersonation
Do not pretend to be a BoltPVP staff member or falsely claim to represent the server.
9. No Mute Evasion
Do not use alternate accounts, formatting, or other methods to bypass a mute or chat restriction.
10. No Sharing Private Information
Do not reveal another person's private information without their consent.
11. No Toxic Behaviour
Competitive banter is allowed, but repeatedly provoking, targeting, or harassing players is not.
12. Follow Staff Instructions
Follow reasonable instructions from BoltPVP staff. Do not disrupt moderation or encourage others to break the rules.
Punishment:
Breaking any of these rules may result in a warning, temporary or permanent mute, or a temporary or permanent ban, depending on the severity of the offence. Serious violations may result in immediate punishment without a warning.
BoltPVP staff reserve the right to take appropriate action against behaviour that harms the community, even if it is not explicitly listed above.
By playing any game mode on BoltPVP, you agree to follow these gameplay rules. These rules apply to all players, including those participating in Duels, FFAs, BotFights, and other current or future game modes.
Do not use hacked clients, combat cheats, reach modifications, kill aura, aim assistance, autoclickers, macros, or any other tools that provide an unfair gameplay advantage.
Only use modifications that are permitted by BoltPVP. Modifications that automate combat, manipulate player input, reveal hidden information, or give you an unfair advantage are prohibited. If you are unsure whether a modification is allowed, ask staff before using it. Keyboard LEFT clicking is prohibited.
Do not abuse glitches, bugs, unintended mechanics, or errors in the server to gain an advantage. This includes bypassing gameplay restrictions, escaping arena boundaries, or abusing broken mechanics. Report discovered exploits to staff instead of taking advantage of them.
Do not manipulate statistics, leaderboards, rankings, or match results. Intentionally losing matches, trading wins, farming kills, abusing alternate accounts, or arranging matches to inflate statistics is prohibited.
Do not team with other players in game modes intended to be played individually, including FFAs. Cooperating with opponents to eliminate other players, share kills, or manipulate the outcome of a match is not allowed unless the game mode explicitly permits teaming. Teaming is allowed in FFAs unless the rules for that FFA state otherwise.
Do not manipulate matchmaking, queues, or match outcomes to gain an unfair advantage. This includes deliberately arranging favourable matches, exploiting matchmaking systems, or interfering with legitimate competitive play.
Do not intentionally disconnect, leave a match, or exploit disconnection mechanics to avoid a legitimate defeat, loss of rating, or other gameplay consequence. Ordinary connection problems will be considered in context.
Play within the intended boundaries and mechanics of each arena. Do not abuse map glitches, inaccessible positions, spawn mechanics, or unintended terrain advantages to make yourself impossible to fight or to disrupt normal gameplay.
Do not use alternate accounts to bypass gameplay restrictions, evade competitive limitations, manipulate matchmaking, farm rewards, or gain advantages unavailable through normal play. Alternate accounts must not be used to circumvent server punishments.
Do not abuse BotFights or other game modes to farm statistics, rewards, or leaderboard positions through unintended mechanics. Do not manipulate bots, game logic, or match systems to gain rewards or advantages that were not intended by the server.
Do not attempt to bypass cooldowns, combat restrictions, queue limitations, match requirements, or other gameplay systems through glitches, alternate accounts, modifications, or other methods.
Every game mode may have additional rules or restrictions. Players are expected to follow the intended mechanics of each mode and any additional instructions published by BoltPVP staff. If a mechanic is clearly unintended or provides an unfair advantage, do not abuse it simply because it is possible.
Violations of these rules may result in warnings, temporary bans, permanent bans, leaderboard or statistic resets, removal of rewards, tier test restrictions, or other appropriate disciplinary actions.
Punishments depend on the severity of the violation, the evidence available, the player's history, and whether the behaviour was intentional or repeated. BoltPVP reserves the right to investigate suspected cheating, boosting, exploiting, and other forms of gameplay abuse.
By continuing to play on BoltPVP, you acknowledge and agree to follow these Gameplay Rules. Ignorance of the rules does not excuse violations.
